Basketball

3 Year Old: "I want to go play basketball. We'll go play and I'll throw the ball like this and then I will jump and throw it in the net then I will hang there for a minute and then I will drop down and you will catch me." (no comma because it all came out in one breath.)

"Look a Puppy!"

While walking down the street, up ahead about half a block away we see someone walking in front of us.

3 Year Old: "Look a puppy! Ohhh, that's not a puppy, that's a kid."

She saw a woman with two children, and one was on a leash. She was quite disappointed that it wasn't a puppy.

I'm not a....

While playing around....
Daddy: "I'm going to throw you!"
(while he scoops her up)
3 Year Old: "You can't throw me! I'm not a ball!!"

Jokes!

3 Year Old: "Wanna hear a joke?"
Mama: "sure."
3 Year Old: "T.V."
Mama: " That's not a joke." (well kinda is but that's not a 3 year old type of conversation)
3 Year Old: "oh. Wanna hear another joke?"
Mama: "okay."
3 Year Old: "Radio".

We have since worked on some jokes. She was right in a sense though!

Sick

How to recover from being sick.

3 Year Old: "I got to bed and I'm sick. I close my eyes. I open my eyes the sun is up and I'm not sick anymore!!!"

My Hero

3 Year Old : "TV is broken. (screen was fuzzy) That's ok, my daddy come home and fix it!"
3 Year Old: "Look! This is Broken!! That's ok, my daddy will fix it." (Runs off) "Daadddyyy"

Ah, the age where Daddy can fix anything. Hopes this last forever!

Hide & Seek

Nanny: "I'm going to go hide. Count to 5"
3 Year Old: "1...2...5...8 ready or not, here me come!"

Nanny: "1..2..3..4..5 I'm going to find you. "
3 Year Old: "Hee Hee Hee, I over here!"

Doesn't quite get the concept yet, but she's getting there!
